ur family trip from Olympia, Washington to Mount Rainier National Park was a memorable adventure filled with breathtaking natural beauty, outdoor activities, and quality family time. The journey began with a scenic drive from Olympia, taking in the stunning landscapes that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Upon reaching Mount Rainier National Park, we embarked on a thrilling hike along the Skyline Trail, a popular and picturesque route. The trail led us through lush forests, alpine meadows, and offered breathtaking vistas of the iconic Mount Rainier. Along the way, we were fortunate to encounter adorable marmots, adding a delightful wildlife element to our hike. After a day of exploring and hiking, we made our way to the cozy lodges at the park’s end, where we could unwind and relax. The lodges provided a comfortable and rustic atmosphere, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the natural surroundings. One of the highlights of our trip was a delightful outdoor pizza dinner with drinks while the kids indulged in rock climbing. The crisp mountain air and the sound of laughter filled the evening as we savored delicious pizza and enjoyed the picturesque views. Throughout our adventure, we were reminded of how fortunate we are to live in Olympia, Washington, with easy access to the wonders of Mount Rainier National Park. This family trip was a perfect blend of nature, adventure, and relaxation, creating lasting memories that we will cherish for years to come.
